Introduction

Hangzhou DarkSun Technology Co., Ltd. ("DarkSun Technology" or "we") values your personal information and privacy protection. This DarkSun Technology Game Privacy Policy (the "Policy") applies to the game products and related services that we provide in mainland China. This Policy is an important part of the DarkSun Technology Game User Agreement. It explains how we process and protect your personal information when providing game services. When you use our game services, you must also comply with the DarkSun Technology Game User Agreement and this Policy. If the DarkSun Technology Game User Agreement is inconsistent with this Policy on matters related to personal information processing, this Policy shall prevail. For matters not related to personal information processing, including account use, game services, virtual currency, virtual items, user conduct rules, violation handling, intellectual property, service suspension or termination, and dispute resolution, the DarkSun Technology Game User Agreement shall prevail. Please read and understand this Policy carefully before using our game services. By using our game services, you acknowledge that you understand that we will process your personal information in accordance with this Policy. For personal information processing activities that legally require separate consent, we will separately obtain your consent through pop-ups, checkboxes, secondary confirmation, or other reasonable methods. If you are a minor under the age of 18, please obtain your guardian's consent before using our services, and ask your guardian to read and agree to this Policy. If you are a child under the age of 14, your parent or legal guardian should help you complete the service registration process before you use our services. I. How we collect and use your personal information

We follow the principles of legality, legitimacy, necessity, and good faith, and collect and use your personal information based on specific functions and service scenarios. The types of information involved may vary by game, channel, and version. The actual functions and page prompts shall prevail. The personal information that we collect and use falls into two categories. The first category is information necessary for the core business functions of our products and/or services. This information is required for the normal operation of the products and/or services, and you must authorize us to collect it. If you refuse to provide it, you will be unable to use our products and/or services normally. The second category is information that may be required for additional business functions. This information is required for non-core business functions, and you may choose whether to authorize us to collect it. If you refuse to provide it, the additional business functions may be unavailable or may not achieve the intended effect, but this will not affect your normal use of core business functions. We specifically remind you that, because we provide multiple game products and services with different content, the core business functions, including the types of personal information collected by them, may differ depending on the actual game product or service. The actual product or service shall prevail. In addition, you understand and agree that we aim to provide complete game products and services, and therefore we will continue to improve our game products, services, and technologies. This means that we may frequently launch new business functions, and may need to collect new personal information or change the purpose or method of using personal information. If a function, game product, or service that needs to collect your personal information is not described in this Policy, we will separately explain the purpose, content, method, and scope of such information collection through updates to this Policy, page prompts, pop-ups, website announcements, or other methods, provide you with an independent method to choose and consent, and collect the information only after obtaining your express consent. When you use DarkSun Technology games and services, we generally collect and use your personal information in the following scenarios:

1. Account registration and identity authentication

(1) When you register and log in to a user account or use DarkSun Technology game products and services, you need to complete a series of registration procedures according to our instructions. During this process, you need to provide the following information: account nickname, user avatar, mobile phone number, and email address. We collect the above information to identify you as a DarkSun Technology user and save your login information. This information is necessary for the core business of registering and logging in to a user account or using DarkSun Technology game products and services. If you choose not to provide it, you may be unable to use DarkSun Technology game products and services. (2) Some of our game products and services support login with third-party platform accounts, including WeChat accounts, QQ accounts, Tap accounts, 3839 accounts, and Apple accounts. If you log in with a third-party platform account, we will obtain relevant information under that third-party account according to your authorization, including the third-party account, username, nickname, avatar, and other information authorized by you, subject to the authorization page of the third-party account. We collect this information to provide account login services, protect account security, and prevent security risks. If you refuse to authorize such information, you will be unable to log in to our platform with the third-party platform account, but this will not affect your normal use of other products and services that we provide. (3) According to laws, regulations, policies, and requirements of competent authorities, you need to complete real-name registration to use DarkSun Technology games and services. We will collect your personal identity information, including your name and identity document number, after obtaining your consent or when you voluntarily provide it. If you use a third-party account to log in to DarkSun Technology services through account linking, we may obtain your personal identity information, including your name and identity document number, from that third party after your authorization. We collect this information to complete real-name authentication. The real-name identity information you provide will be compared with authoritative data sources. If the comparison matches, authentication will be completed successfully. The above information is sensitive personal information. Refusal to provide it may prevent you from logging in to DarkSun Technology games and services. (4) To meet the need for real identity verification, we may need you to provide real identity information, including your name and identity document number, and biometric information, including static or dynamic facial features, to complete identity authentication. If you do not provide the above information, we will be unable to provide you with the relevant functions and services. To achieve the purpose of identity authentication, after obtaining your consent in accordance with law, we may provide, query, and verify the above identity information with relevant identity authentication institutions, such as credit reporting agencies or government departments, either by ourselves or by entrusting a third party. Please note that your identity information, biometric information, and similar information are sensitive personal information. Please provide them carefully. If you refuse to provide them, you may be unable to obtain related services, but this will not affect your normal use of other functions and services.

2. Game operation and basic services

(1) To provide the basic functions of game services, further optimize and improve our products and services, and protect service security, we collect device or software information, including your IP address provided by your mobile device, web browser, or other program used to access our services, and information about the terminal device used to access our services, including mobile phones, tablets, computers, mobile smart devices, home game consoles, client devices, wireless routers, operating systems, and other necessary software, hardware, or internet access devices. Such information includes model, device identifier or device ID (MAC, IMEI, Android ID, IDFA, IDFV, OpenUDID, GUID, OAID, SIM card IMSI information), device name, device type and version, device resolution, package name, device settings, system version, app ID, network type information, app version, and channel information. (2) We collect your game log information, including login logs, purchase records, item logs, game match information, friend records, activity logs, and upgrade logs, so that you can view your game history in the client. We also use this information for game operation statistics and analysis, customer service complaint handling, and other game security analysis, such as mobile number change verification. To improve your game experience, we may synchronize the above information to subsequent versions of that game or to other services that we provide and that you are using. (3) Clipboard information. When you copy and paste information in a game, we need to access your clipboard locally on the device and read the relevant information in it. We only read information related to our services to complete relevant instructions, and we do not store such information. We do not collect other unrelated information from your clipboard.

3. Top-ups, payments, and transaction records

(1) When you use the payment functions of DarkSun Technology services, we collect your top-up records, consumption records, order number/transaction number, order creation time, and transaction amount so that you can query your transaction records and so that we can protect your virtual items to the greatest extent. This information is necessary to implement the payment function of DarkSun Technology services. Otherwise, transactions cannot be completed. (2) To complete order payment or delivery of goods or services, confirm transaction status, and provide after-sales and dispute resolution services, we may collect account, order, transaction, and other information related to transaction progress through the transaction counterparty or payment institution selected by you, or share your transaction information with the above service providers.

4. Customer service, complaints, appeals, and account security

When providing customer service consultation, explanations, complaints, appeals, after-sales service, and dispute resolution, we may need you to first provide account information, mobile phone number, and verification code, and match them with the personal information you previously provided to verify your user identity, for the security of your account and our systems. In addition, we collect communications between you and us, including text, images, audio/video, and call records, as well as other necessary information related to your request. We collect the above information to investigate facts and help you resolve problems. If you refuse to provide the above information, we may be unable to respond to you in a timely manner.

5. Security protection, anti-cheating, and risk control

(1) To protect account security, transaction security, game fairness, and system security, and to prevent cheating tools, scripts, account theft, fraud, unauthorized top-ups, malicious refunds, data anomalies, and similar conduct, we may collect and use: device information, account behavior records, login and operation logs, game behavior data, abnormal data, payment risk records, cheating tool detection information, program runtime environment information, report information, and penalty records. We conduct security checks only within a reasonable and necessary scope, and do not collect unrelated information beyond what is necessary to achieve security protection purposes. (2) When you use text customization or editing functions included in game services, we may collect and store the text content you enter to filter inappropriate content such as pornography, violence, political content, abuse, and malicious advertising, in order to improve the game environment and maintain a healthy online environment.

6. Social interaction, chat, and user content

If a game provides chat, friends, team-up, ranking, community, nickname, avatar, signature, submissions, comments, feedback, or similar functions, we may collect and use: text, images, voice, videos, nicknames, avatars, signatures, interaction records, report records, blocking records, friend or team relationships, and other information that you publish or upload. Please note that information you publish in public areas may be viewed, copied, or distributed by other users. Do not publish sensitive personal information such as identity documents, contact information, addresses, or payment information.

7. Activities, questionnaires, and operation notices

When you participate in activities, claim rewards, join user recruitment, fill in questionnaires, subscribe to notices, or participate in user research, we may collect and use: activity participation records, reward distribution records, questionnaire feedback, contact information, shipping information, user preferences, game experience feedback, and similar information. If an activity involves delivery of physical prizes, we may need to collect recipient name, mobile phone number, address, and similar information, which will be used only for prize delivery and necessary after-sales processing. We may also obtain shipping information shared by a third-party social platform with your authorization when you participate in interactions or lucky draws that we hold on that third-party social platform, so that we can send prizes to you. If we obtain your personal information from a third party, we will use such information in accordance with our agreement with the third party and in compliance with relevant laws and regulations. When an activity is jointly held by us and our affiliates, we may synchronize relevant information across multiple affiliates and products or services operated by affiliates to ensure that you receive a complete activity experience. Please refer to the separate explanation provided on the activity page.

8. Information push and marketing promotion

When you use our products and services, we will use the information you provide to send you notices about activity results, reward distribution, system announcements, such as maintenance, changes, suspension, or termination of services provided by DarkSun Technology, feedback and communications regarding your inquiries, and other information sent in accordance with laws and regulations or your separate consent. (1) To provide you with timely updates on products and services, we may send game activities, version updates, reward claim reminders, activity notices, and progress updates to you through your device's system notifications. You can disable message push functions in your device settings. To implement instant message push functions, we may integrate message push SDKs or device manufacturer push channels, and may collect and use your device information, app information, push token, device identifier, operating system version, app version, network status, notification permission status, login status, account ID, server/region, game character information, and necessary message sending records. The specific types of information collected may vary depending on your device, operating system, push service provider, and game version. (2) To provide you with more accurate marketing promotion services on third-party media platforms, we have integrated or may integrate third-party advertising and marketing SDKs in the future. After obtaining your separate consent in accordance with law, these SDKs may be used for advertising attribution, delivery effect analysis, or targeted promotion. In the above scenarios, we and relevant third parties may process your device identifier, advertising identifier, app information, device information, network information, advertising click or display records, activity participation records, login status, channel source, and necessary statistical analysis information for advertising attribution, delivery effect analysis, and anti-cheating. If the relevant processing involves providing your personal information to a third party, or involves personal information processing activities that legally require separate consent, we will inform you of the third party's name, processing purpose, processing method, types of personal information, and method for exercising your rights, and obtain your separate consent when necessary. For the specific names of third-party SDKs, third-party entities, processing purposes, types of information collected, and privacy policy links, please refer to Section X, "Third-party SDKs we use", or relevant page explanations. If our game app itself does not contain third-party commercial advertising display placements, the relevant advertising and marketing SDKs are mainly used for advertising attribution, delivery effect analysis, and external media platform promotion effect evaluation. (3) To send you user return invitations or other activity invitations, or to push information or game service promotion information that may interest you, we may also use the mobile phone number you provided during registration to send relevant information by SMS. If you do not wish to receive such information, you may unsubscribe according to the relevant instructions in the SMS.

9. Exceptions to authorization and consent

According to laws and regulations, we may process your personal information without obtaining your consent in the following circumstances: (1) where it is necessary for entering into or performing a contract to which you are a party; (2) where it is necessary for performing statutory duties or legal obligations; (3) where it is necessary for responding to public health emergencies, or for protecting the life, health, and property safety of natural persons in emergencies; (4) where personal information is processed within a reasonable scope for news reporting, public opinion supervision, or similar activities conducted in the public interest; (5) where personal information that you have disclosed by yourself or that has otherwise been legally disclosed is processed within a reasonable scope in accordance with law; (6) other circumstances provided by laws and regulations.

10. Other uses

If we intend to use your personal information for purposes not stated in this Policy, we will separately obtain your consent through page prompts, interaction processes, website announcements, or other methods, where required by applicable law. If you agree or continue to use our services, such additional purposes will be deemed part of this Policy.

11. Permission request list

You understand and agree that, when you use the services, we will request access to your system permissions when necessary to collect and use information involved in those permissions. Before enabling a permission, we will inform you of the purpose of enabling the permission and request your consent. If you do not agree, we will not enable the permission, and we will be unable to provide the service corresponding to that permission. II. How we use cookies and similar technologies

To provide you with a better user experience and services, we or our third-party partners may automatically collect information through cookies, scripts, web beacons, Flash cookies, embedded web links, local storage, and similar tools. We use our own cookies or similar technologies to provide simple and convenient services and experiences. In addition, other third-party partners may place cookies or similar technologies on our products. The collection and use of information by such third-party cookies or similar technologies are not governed by this Policy, but by their own information protection statements. We are not responsible for third-party cookies or similar technologies. You may manage cookies or related permissions through your browser or device settings. If you reject or disable relevant technologies, some functions may not work properly.

III. How we entrust processing, share, transfer, and publicly disclose your personal information

1. Entrusted processing

To provide game services, we may entrust third-party service providers to process necessary personal information, such as cloud services, SMS services, data storage, payment reconciliation, real-name authentication verification, customer service systems, security risk control, data statistics, and crash analysis. We will enter into agreements with entrusted parties and require them to process personal information according to our instructions, this Policy, and laws and regulations, and not to use personal information for other purposes.

2. Sharing

We value the protection of your personal information. Your personal information is an important basis and component for our provision of products and/or services to you. We collect and use your personal information only for the purposes and within the scope described in this Policy or as required by laws and regulations, and we keep it strictly confidential. Generally, we do not share your personal information with any company, organization, or individual, except in the following circumstances: (1) where we have obtained your separate consent or authorization; (2) where it is necessary to complete real-name authentication, anti-addiction compliance, payment, order processing, customer service, security risk control, activity reward distribution, or similar services; (3) where provision is required by laws, regulations, regulatory requirements, judicial authorities, or administrative authorities; (4) where it is necessary to protect the life, property, account security, and lawful rights and interests of users, us, or third parties; (5) where information is shared with our affiliates within a necessary scope for unified accounts, security protection, customer service handling, data analysis, or service operation, provided that we will require affiliates to protect your personal information in accordance with this Policy. (6) To provide you with more complete and higher-quality products and services, some of our services will be provided by authorized partners. We may share certain personal information about you with partners in order to provide better customer service and user experience. We will share your personal information only for lawful, legitimate, necessary, specific, and explicit purposes, and will share only the personal information necessary to provide the services. We will also require partners to process your personal information in accordance with our instructions, this Policy, and any other relevant confidentiality and security measures. Our partners have no right to use the shared personal information for any other purpose. If you refuse to allow our partners to collect the personal information necessary to provide services, you may be unable to use the corresponding third-party service on our platform. Our partners' collection and processing of information shall comply with their own privacy terms or relevant statements, and shall not be governed by this Policy. To protect your information security to the greatest extent, we recommend that you review the privacy terms of any third-party service before using it. To protect your lawful rights and interests, if you discover risks in a relevant third-party service, we recommend that you immediately stop the relevant operation and contact us promptly.

3. Transfer

Unless we obtain your express consent, we will not transfer your personal information to any company, organization, or individual. If a merger, division, acquisition, asset transfer, business transfer, bankruptcy liquidation, or similar transaction occurs and involves the transfer of personal information, we will inform you of the name and contact information of the recipient in accordance with law, and require the recipient to continue to be bound by this Policy. If the recipient changes the original processing purpose or method, it shall obtain your consent again in accordance with law.

4. Public disclosure

We will publicly disclose your personal information only in the following circumstances, and only after taking security protection measures that meet industry standards: (1) where we have obtained your separate consent or the disclosure is based on your active choice; (2) where disclosure is based on laws, regulations, or requirements of judicial or administrative authorities; (3) where it is necessary to announce serious violation accounts, cheating behavior, activity winner lists, or similar matters, in which case we will use desensitization, anonymization, or minimum necessary display to the greatest extent possible.

IV. How we store and protect your personal information

4.1 We will store your personal information for the shortest period necessary to achieve the processing purpose, unless laws and regulations provide otherwise. For example, virtual currency top-up records, transaction records, real-name verification records, and log records will be stored for necessary periods in accordance with laws, regulations, and regulatory requirements. 4.2 After the storage period expires, we will delete or anonymize your personal information in accordance with law, unless laws and regulations provide otherwise or continued storage is necessary for handling disputes or performing legal obligations. 4.3 We will take reasonable security measures to protect your personal information, including but not limited to access control, encrypted transmission, permission management, log auditing, security testing, data backup, employee confidentiality systems, and emergency response mechanisms. 4.4 The internet environment is not absolutely secure. Although we will make reasonable efforts to protect your personal information, we cannot guarantee that information will always be absolutely secure. If a personal information security incident occurs, we will take remedial measures in accordance with law, and notify you and relevant competent authorities as required by laws and regulations.

V. Your personal information rights

Within the scope provided by laws and regulations, you have the rights to query, copy, correct, supplement, delete, withdraw consent, cancel your account, and request explanations regarding your personal information.

1. Querying, copying, correcting, and supplementing

You may query, correct, or supplement part of your account information through in-game settings, account center, or customer service channels. If you are unable to complete the operation by yourself, you may contact our customer service for handling.

2. Deleting personal information

For part of your personal information, you may contact us through the methods provided in this Policy to submit a deletion request. After the personal information deletion request is approved, we will delete or anonymize such information, unless laws and regulations provide otherwise. In the following circumstances, you may directly request that we delete your personal information, except where the information has been anonymized or laws and regulations provide otherwise: (1) where we collect or use your personal information without obtaining your consent; (2) where we stop providing products or services, or the storage period has expired; (3) where you cancel your user account; (4) where we process personal information in violation of laws, regulations, or agreements; (5) other circumstances provided by laws and regulations. If laws and regulations require us to continue storing relevant information, or if continued storage is necessary for handling disputes or performing legal obligations, we may be unable to delete it immediately, but we will stop processing it except for storage and necessary processing.

3. Withdrawing consent

For personal information processed based on your consent, you may withdraw your consent through system settings, permission management, unsubscribe methods, or customer service. Withdrawal of consent does not affect the validity of personal information processing activities conducted before the withdrawal based on your consent. Withdrawal of certain necessary permissions or consent may cause relevant functions to become unavailable.

4. Account cancellation

You may apply to cancel your account through the in-game account cancellation entry or official customer service. You acknowledge and understand that account cancellation is irreversible. After account cancellation, we will delete or anonymize your personal information in accordance with laws, regulations, and this Policy, except where laws and regulations require storage. Account cancellation may cause your game data, virtual currency, virtual items, top-up records, activity eligibility, and similar items to become unrecoverable. Please proceed carefully.

5. Responding to your requests

(1) The above requests can generally be completed by you through the corresponding interfaces in our services. If you are unable to complete the operation by yourself, or if you have any questions, comments, or suggestions when exercising your rights, you may also contact us for handling. We will respond to your request within 15 working days. (2) To protect security, you may need to provide a written request or otherwise prove your identity. We may first ask you to verify your identity before processing your request. (3) In principle, we do not charge fees for your reasonable requests. However, for repeated requests or requests that exceed reasonable limits, we may charge certain cost fees depending on the circumstances. We may refuse requests that are unjustifiably repeated, require excessive technical means, such as developing a new system or fundamentally changing current practices, pose risks to the lawful rights and interests of others, or are highly impractical, such as requests involving information stored on backup tapes.

6. Exceptions to responding to requests

Please understand that, according to laws and regulations, we may be unable to respond to your request in the following circumstances: (1) where it is related to our performance of obligations provided by laws and regulations; (2) where it is directly related to national security or national defense security; (3) where it is directly related to public security, public health, or major public interests; (4) where it is directly related to criminal investigation, prosecution, trial, or enforcement of judgments; (5) where there is sufficient evidence showing that you have subjective malice or abuse your rights; (6) where responding to your request would seriously harm the lawful rights and interests of you or other individuals or organizations; (7) where trade secrets are involved; (8) other circumstances where we have reasonable grounds to refuse. If we are unable to respond to your request to exercise your rights, we will explain the reason to you.

VI. How we process personal information of minors and children

6.1 We value the protection of personal information of minors and children. Minors should obtain guardian consent before using game services and should use them under guardian guidance. Minors under the age of 14 are children. We will take stricter protection measures for children's personal information in accordance with laws and regulations on children's personal information protection. 6.2 For personal information of minors collected with guardian consent, we will use such information only where permitted by law, expressly consented to by the guardian, or necessary to protect minors. 6.3 If you are a child under the age of 14, you should obtain the consent of your parent or legal guardian before using our services, and your parent or legal guardian should help you complete the service registration process so that you can use the services we provide. 6.4 For personal information of children under the age of 14, we will obtain guardian consent in accordance with law, and process children's personal information only within the scope necessary to achieve real-name authentication, anti-addiction compliance, account security, game services, top-up restrictions, customer service handling, regulatory requirements, and similar necessary purposes. 6.5 The children's personal information that we may process includes account information, real-name verification information, age or age range, game duration, top-up and consumption records, login records, game behavior records, customer service communication records, and identity and guardianship relationship certification materials submitted by guardians. The specific processing scope is limited to what is necessary to provide services and perform legal obligations. 6.6 If a guardian discovers that a child has used our services without consent, or wishes to query, correct, copy, or delete children's personal information, withdraw consent, apply to cancel a child account, or submit complaints or suggestions regarding the processing of children's personal information, the guardian may contact us through the contact methods listed in this Policy. We will process the request in accordance with law after verifying the guardianship relationship and identity. 6.7 We may provide necessary information such as minors' game duration, top-up amount, consumption records, and login status to their legal guardians in accordance with laws, regulations, and anti-addiction requirements, so that guardians can perform their guardianship responsibilities. 6.8 If we discover that we have collected children's personal information without first obtaining verifiable guardian consent, and the processing is not otherwise permitted by laws and regulations, we will delete it or take other appropriate measures as soon as possible. 6.9 If you have any questions or rights requests regarding the personal information protection of a child under your guardianship, please contact us through the contact information disclosed in this Policy. We will handle and respond within a reasonable time.

VII. How this Policy is updated

We may update this Policy based on laws and regulations, regulatory requirements, product functions, business changes, or personal information processing conditions. After this Policy is updated, we will publish the update through announcements or similar methods. If an update to this Policy also affects service rules under the DarkSun Technology Game User Agreement, we may notify you together with the user agreement update. If there are changes that substantially reduce your rights or constitute major changes, we will notify you by providing a prominent prompt on the page, sending you an email, or other reasonable methods. Major changes include but are not limited to: (1) major changes in our service model, such as the purpose of processing personal information, the types of personal information processed, and the method of using personal information; (2) major changes in our ownership structure or organizational structure, such as owner changes caused by business adjustment, bankruptcy, merger, or acquisition; (3) changes in the main recipients of personal information sharing, transfer, or public disclosure; (4) major changes in your rights to participate in personal information processing and the methods for exercising those rights; (5) where a personal information security impact assessment report indicates high risk. If you continue to use our services, you will be deemed to have agreed to accept the updated DarkSun Technology Game Privacy Policy.
